Deepak Verma

Deepak trained as an Actor at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama in London and since then has made various television appearances on UK mainstream networks. His body of acting work includes ‘Eastenders’, one of the UK’s top long running drama series.

He also starred in Good Karma Hospital for ITV.

Other recent appearance include ‘White Teeth’, ‘Holby City’, ‘Doctors’, ‘River City’, all for mainstream UK channels.

Deepak is CEO of Pukkanasha Films and is currently producing a slate of films in the UK, US, Canada and India.

He is a graduate of the producers program EAVE, and the Berlinale Talent Campus. In 2010 Deepak originated the Faith Short global film competition in conjuction with the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.

Deepak directed a short film segment as part of the 50 Kisses competition. His film Beryl won the audience award in February 2014. Watch Beryl on Vimeo

Deepak wrote, directed and produced MUMBAI CHARLIE, a 30 minute film, in the arid region of Gujerat, India.
